Who maintains the property when I'm not there?
All aspects of the ongoing maintenance, housekeeping, and security of the units and general grounds are handled on-site by The Sanctuary Owners Association Group, providing owners with care-free ownership and 100% of their vacation time to enjoy!

 

What activities are available in the area?
The skies the limit! For water enthusiasts, deep-sea fishing, snorkeling and world-class scuba diving, surfing, swimming, sailing are all enjoyed on-site or minutes from your door. For land-lovers, hike among the area's forests and view monkeys, exotic birds and other fauna and wildlife. Go horseback riding on the beach or explore the area's hilly landscape with spectacular views of the mountains and ocean. For a rush of adrenaline, strap-in the an ultra-light plane and soar through the sky or put your muscles to work as you whitewater raft down the rivers or glide through a tree-top tour. There is a fabulous surf break just 5 minutes from the Resort, and 2 or 3 of the best off-site tours available. The Resort staff will be delighted to coordinate Airport transfers, car rentals, fishing and diving trips, off-site tours, etc.

 

Where are the condominiums located?
The Towers are located within The Sanctuary Resort and Spa on the Northwest Pacific Coast of Costa Rica in the Guanacaste Province.

 

How does the rental program work? Am I obligated to participate in it? If I participate in the rental program, can I still use my unit?
Owners have the option of placing their unit in the rental program. Participation in the program does not preclude owners from using their unit, as the weeks that they wish to use their unit are simply blocked out from the rental calendar.

 

Can I use the Resort facilities?
Yes, owners and their guests have full access to all of the Resort facilities and amenities.

 

Can foreigners hold title to the condominium?
Yes, foreigners can hold title in their personal name, or in the name of a Costa Rican corporation, and enjoy the same property rights as Costa Rican citizens. Owners hold fee-simple title to their Condominium, and each unit is registered in the National Property Registry of Costa Rica.

 

Is title insurance available?
Yes, title insurance is available through Chicago Title, which reflects both the security of purchasing a condominium at The Sanctuary, as well as the stable climate for investing in Costa Rica in general.

 

What is happening with property values? What is forecasted to happen in the near future?
